Delightful December Day

By Alicia

Yeah! It was sunny today! And warm! Right around 50 degress - odd but welcome weather for Ohio this time of year.

I walked the dog this morning once around the block since the old guy can't make it more than that without getting winded and tired. I never thought I would see the day where I would have more stamina than a dog, but he's 13 years old and not in the best of health.

(He likes to carry his rawhide stick around in his mouth -- looks like he's smoking.)

After walking Ollie -- which was more of a stop-n-go-n-stop, rather than a walk -- I finished off three miles outside. The sun felt good on my skin and the breeze was just right. Asked me what month it was and I would have told you March, not December.

My weight has dropped two more pounds since I last blogged. Again, no major changes in the diet -- just sticking with the vegetarian thing, and incorporating more water and walnuts in the diet. My scale at home is always 3 to 5 pounds off from the scale at the Wellness facility, so I will have to weigh in tomorrow morning and see what the official number is.

That's about all I have for this blog entry. I'm elbow-deep -- like everyone else --  in shopping, wrapping, cookie baking, planning for another birthday party (this time for my son), and getting Christmas cards sent. Phew! There's always something to do, it seems. Well, gotta keep on keeping on...

Talk to you guys later!

P.S. Almost forgot -- I bought the new CD by Fergie (from the Black Eyed Peas). It totally rocks and I highly recommend you buy it. You can listen to a snippet of it here:
