Queen size mattress and attitude to match
By Alicia
I was not a good girl today! I totally and completely blew off my walking workout. And it's not like I slept in or anything. I was up at 4:00 this morning but I was writing, not walking. And once I get started on writing, the whole world could self-destruct and I wouldn't notice until my computer lost power.
I did, however, get some decent physcial activity in. I am in the middle of an early spring cleaning and I managed to drag a queen size box spring, a queen size mattress, and a twin mattress up from the basement and out to the curb. All by myself. Well, almost. I was really struggling to move the queen size mattress from the front door to the front yard. It was heavy and really wobbly and I just couldn't get it to budge. It kept toppling over and I kept grunting and pushing, sounding like a pig in labor, hoping something would happen in terms of movement.
I really must have made a sorry impression because the neighbor across the street -- the one whom I've only seen a handful of times and has always ignored my 'hello's" in the nine years I've lived here -- stopped walking his dog and came across the way to help with my immobile mattress. He said one sentence -- "Need help with that?" and that was it. He helped me push it to where it needed to go and then he was gone. Guess he's just not much for conversation. But I'm sure glad his actions talk louder than his words. Without his help, I'd still be out there, trying to shove that thing across the lawn.
Okay, for tomorrow, no messing around. New chart, fresh start, maybe even a new diet?!? Yes, I am trying a new one, but I'm going to keep it a secret until I know for sure it is working...

A secret diet?! I'm so curious...
I hope it works. Plus, once it gets to spring time, I think it is a little easier to get the motivation to get up, move around, and eat veggies.
Good luck!
